Claims Services

To ensure that injured workers receive the most appropriate treatments, nurse, pharmacist, and physician case managers work in teams with our claims examiners and a national network of health care providers to coordinate every aspect of a claim. Small case loads, round-the-clock availability of claims staff, and a two-to-one ratio of claims examiners to assistants have helped us produce historically superior claims closing results.

Loss Control and Safety Services

Careful evaluation of safety standards and safety education for policyholders guide our underwriting. We partner with brokers and policyholders to help customers operate safely, and we support improvements to safety management processes wherever applicable. We also adapt our safety and loss control services to the policyholder's size and degree of risk.

Medical Management Services

Our medical management services are distinguished by utilization and bill review results that surpass industry averages, local and national networks of carefully selected doctors, and an on-staff medical team that oversees the development, implementation, and performance of medical management programs. In addition, our pioneering Physician-Guided Care (PGC) program for complex claims was the first of its kind to combine ongoing physician oversight with predictive modeling to help injured workers receive the most appropriate treatment - and return to health and productivity as quickly as possible.
